HPC meeting notes from Monday 11th September

posted 20 Sep 2017, 04:05 by Assitant-Clerk

In addition to routine issues - commenting on local residential planning applications and governance etc. HPC discussed its response to the Black Country Core Strategy and proposed changes at the Wildmoor Quarry. In both cases we raised, on behalf of residents, concerns about the extra traffic passing through Hagley.

HPC is due to reconsider its funding of Hagley Library. Without funding, from the Parish Council, the library would have significantly reduced opening hours. Anyone with views on this should contact the Clerk asap.

Good news on the Pavilion – having finally overcome several unexpected setbacks work on the Pavilion has now started. The old building has been demolished and the building work can now start. HPC are expecting the work to be completed by January 2018.

Minutes of this meeting will be published in due course. HPC’s next meeting is 25th September when we will have further updates on the Pavilion.

Please don’t forget to attend the meeting HPC has arranged with the Police and Crime Commissioner at the Community Centre 7pm on 16th October
